12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat! Count down those long days of December with this spin on an advent calendar. Technically the "12 Days of Christmas" fall between Christmas and Epiphany on 6th January, but you're welcome to open this whenever you like! Some of you asked me for a stitch marker Advent, so this is my compromise for you all.
You will receive 12 little bundles of fun. 6 unique festive hand beaded stitch markers which have never been in the shop before, and 6 Chromatic Yarns Sturdy Sock 20g mini skeins, dyed in completely new colours that you've not seen before.
About the stitch markers:
Not only are they ideal to use as progress keepers in your yarn-crafts, but because they're removeable, they make perfect stitch markers for crochet to mark the end of your round! I love to use these to mark the end of my round in knitting too as the larger clasp is suitable to use as a stitch marker on smaller needles.
The beaded progress keeper/charm is handmade by sewing the beads together one-by-one to achieve the desired pattern. The beads are made out of glass. Although these charms are extremely durable, they're still made from glass beads. If your charm is bashed about, there is a chance the beads may break (although this hasn't happened to me before!)
The earring itself is nickel free and silver plated.
This charm is made in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
About the yarn:
75% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester
approx 420m /467yds per 100g skein
Skeins are dyed in batches and there may be some differences between them. Due to the nature of handdyed yarn, I would recommend alternating skeins to avoid severe differences or colour pooling. Although every care has been taken during the dye process, some colour may bleed during the first wash.
I have tried my hardest to make the colour on my screen reflect what I see in person, but different screens may show the colours differently.
If you'd like larger quantities or have any questions, feel free to drop me a message.
To keep your knits looking at their best, I recommend handwashing in lukewarm water with a detergent suitable for wool fibres and allow it to dry flat.
These advent calendars will be shipped out to you by the end of October and cannot be combined with other orders.
